State employees earn at least 25 percent more than non-government employees in Connecticut who do the same work.


Employees of top companies in Connecticut earn benefits worth about $29,000, while state employees get pensions, retiree healthcare and expensive health coverage worth $54,000 per year.

At the same time, state employees earn only slightly less in salary (about $150 less each year, or $3 less per week).

That's not fair!
