Capitol Insider Breakfast
March 29 - Stamford

Bacon, eggs – and the insiders’ perspective

Information is a great equalizer. With it we can effect change and hold our elected officials accountable. Join the Yankee Institute for Public Policy in Stamford at our Capitol Insider Breakfast and we’ll give you the scoop on what’s really going on in Hartford. Come learn what the Connecticut legislature is up to as our elected officials try to fill a gaping shortfall in the state’s budget. The original budget for 2016-17, adopted last June, is almost $900 million out of balance. And it gets worse. Legislators from both parties acknowledge the 2017-18 and 2018-19 fiscal years each face a built-in shortfall topping $2 billion.
