On Monday, March 30, 2009, Fahle started as the Policy Director at the Yankee Institute for Public Policy, Connecticut’s only free market, limited government think tank.

In October 2009, his first Yankee Institute study, “Slanting the Playing Field: Connecticut’s Flawed Publicly Financed Campaign Sytem” was published.

He has appeared frequently in the Connecticut media to discuss campaign finance reform, taxation and spending, and other issues while the Policy Director at the Yankee Institute.  Appearances include WTIC1080am with Ray Dunaway, Connecticut Newsmakers with Tom Monahan, WDRC 1360AM with Dan Lovallo, WDRC1360AM the Brad Davis Show, and Get Real with Josh Piteo.
