Lunch with Arthur Brooks

Join us for lunch at on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, with Arthur Brooks, president of the American Enterprise Institute, at the Stamford Sheraton.

Arthur will be discussing his latest book, The Road to Freedom: How to Win the Fight for Free Enterprise. By appealing to the writings of the Founders, social science research, and public opinion data, Arthur demonstrates that free enterprise embodies the American notions of fairness and service—and allows each individual to live a flourishing and prosperous life.

Lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m. and tickets are $20 per person and include free parking. Lunch and book tickets are $40.

About Arthur
Arthur Brooks is president of AEI. Until 2009, he was the Louis A. Bantle Professor of Business and Government Policy at Syracuse University. He is the author of ten books and many articles on topics ranging from the economics of the arts to applied mathematics.  Before pursuing his work in public policy, Arthur spent twelve years as a professional French hornist with the City Orchestra of Barcelona and other ensembles.
